Arts for Mental Health Programme
Curious Routes 2016 -2017
The Curious Routes programme encourages individuals affected by mental ill health and who live in Edinburgh to be part makers and instigators in developing their own specific route of Interest. These routes will become models of participation, documented and publicly performed by Curious Routes over a period of time and presented in November 2017. This will be an information tool that showcases Artlink Curious Route project but also as an information resource/document of how someone can go about trying or starting out an activity. Far from been prescriptive activity that is passive and institutional Curious Routes participants are given a shared platform in the development and shaping of these models. The activity starts from the participants themselves building using local skills and knowledge. The culmination of this will the identification of different people, networks, funders with Edinburgh mental health sphere to which very careful presentation will be made by the participants involved.
