Pool & Pentlands

Adele, David and Vic are wanting to pursue running in different locations in and outside of Edinburgh. Today, we decided to venture out of the city and head out to the Pentlands…on probably the coldest and wettest day in August. YES Great decision guys. Thank goodness for the Flottestone inn and it’s hot homemade soup, pool room (another interest inspired by Lee who cleared the table in minutes.)  We talked about soup and bread being an irresistible combo and Chelley talked about her desire to learn how to make her own bread and sour dough, Alex and David are interested in this idea too. (Louise and Lee missed out on this initial conversation but have since shown interest in this idea too). Chelley talked about organisation called Breadshare Community Bakery, who she has met through her weekend  markets with her jam and preserves business THAT’S JAMMY and how we should look into possible bread making workshops with them. Apparently baker Geoff Crowe is the best person to chat to about setting something like this up.

We also discussed running routes and how we might begin to map these routes and the desire to make a portable table tennis/ pool table and what would that look like?….
